Administrative NewsFriday, June 12, 2026

Finland's Tax Administration will relocate its Helsinki customer service operations to a shared government service point in Pasila from June 1, 2026, closing its current Hämeentie office on May 29.

The new Suomi-piste (Finland Point) at Ratapihantie 7 will operate weekdays from 8 AM to 4 PM, with the first hour reserved for document submissions and general guidance only. Full tax services will be available from 9 AM to 4 PM. The facility offers barrier-free access through the B-wing of Opastinsilta 12.

The shared service point will house multiple government agencies including the Digital and Population Data Services Agency, Finnish Transport and Communications Agency, National Land Survey, and International House Helsinki. The model prioritizes customers who cannot handle matters electronically and need assistance with digital services.

Finland's Tax Administration already operates in Suomi-piste locations in Turku, Lahti, Lappeenranta, Joensuu, Kouvola, Pori, and Jyväskylä. The initiative consolidates government services under one roof while maintaining the Tax Administration's emphasis on digital-first service delivery through OmaVero online services and telephone support.
