The Finnish Tax Administration (Verohallinto) has announced a scheduled system outage for its OmaVero digital tax portal from Saturday 16 May at 6:30 until Monday 18 May at 8:00 due to system updates.
The outage affects all digital tax services accessed through the OmaVero portal, which serves as the primary online platform for Finnish taxpayers to manage their tax affairs. Taxpayers are advised to complete any pending tax matters before the maintenance window begins on Saturday morning.
The timing coincides with broader digital transformation initiatives at the Finnish Tax Administration, including the ongoing transition to electronic-only tax correspondence through the Suomi.fi messaging system. From 14 April, taxpayers logging into OmaVero receive access to Suomi.fi messages, after which tax correspondence is delivered exclusively electronically rather than by post.
