Administrative NewsFriday, April 24, 2026

Poland's Ministry of Finance will update the SSL certificate for the JPK e-documents production environment (e-dokumenty.mf.gov.pl) on 28 April 2026, requiring businesses using the system to obtain the new certificate.

The new certificate has been issued by GeoTrust EV RSA CA G2 for e-dokumenty.mf.gov.pl with validity from 22 April 2026 to 7 November 2026. The certificate replaces the existing SSL certificate used to secure connections to the JPK e-documents service.

Businesses can download the certificate, titled "SSL Certificate for JPK e-documents production environment - from 22.04.2026", from the Tax Portal in two locations: the JPK_VAT with declaration downloads section and the JPK_VAT downloads section. The update affects all taxpayers submitting JPK_VAT files and JPK_VAT with declaration files through the electronic system.

The certificate update represents routine maintenance of Poland's digital tax infrastructure, ensuring continued secure transmission of VAT reporting data through the JPK system that has become central to Polish VAT compliance since its introduction.
