France Opens E-Invoicing Platform Test Environment for Approved Providers

France Opens E-Invoicing Platform Test Environment for Approved Providerstax-compliance
Administrative NewsWednesday, October 8, 2025

France's Agency for State IT (AIFE) will open the test environment of the Public Invoicing Portal (PPF) on October 14, 2025 at 2:00 PM, marking a key milestone in the country's e-invoicing implementation.

Approved platforms (PA) must complete interoperability tests with the Public Invoicing Portal within three months of the test environment launch, submitting test reports by January 14, 2026 at the latest. The platforms must also conduct interoperability tests between different platforms and submit corresponding reports within the same timeframe.

Following receipt of these test reports, the registration service has two months to validate the results or notify the concerned platforms of the expiration of their registration number validity. Technical questions regarding the qualification environment should be directed to AIFE.

This development represents the lifting of reserves on platform registration as France advances its mandatory B2B e-invoicing system, scheduled for full implementation in the coming years as part of the country's digital transformation of VAT reporting.
