The Dominican Republic's tax authority (DGII) has extended the e-invoicing compliance deadline for small, micro, and unclassified taxpayers by six months to 15 November 2026. The extension applies automatically without requiring any application from affected taxpayers.
After the new deadline expires, non-compliant taxpayers will face sanctions under Law No. 32-23. The DGII has established support channels for taxpayers seeking additional information, including a contact centre and dedicated email address at informacion@dgii.gov.do.
This represents the latest phase in the Dominican Republic's ongoing rollout of mandatory electronic invoicing requirements across different taxpayer categories. The extension provides additional time for smaller businesses to implement the necessary systems and processes for e-invoicing compliance.
