The Czech Financial Administration published the first technical documentation for EET 2.0 on June 5, 2026, opening the development window for suppliers and developers of cash register systems ahead of a mandatory February 2027 go-live. The publication marks the first formal milestone in a seven-month technical preparation schedule that runs through to live operation.

The documentation covers basic technical specifications and integration requirements for EET 2.0 compatibility. Further methodological guidance will follow in line with the legislative process, with all materials consolidated at eet.gov.cz.

  • July 1, 2026 — Playground testing environment opens for developers, covering the revenue side of sales records

  • November 1, 2026 — EET 2.0 functions available in the Tax Information Box Plus on the MOJE Daně portal, including cash certificate generation

  • December 1, 2026 — Launch of MOJE EET, a simplified sales recording application for smaller businesses

  • January 1, 2027 — Normal system operation begins, with a pilot running through the month

The Financial Administration said the early publication was deliberate, intended to give developers and entrepreneurs time to plan, test, and implement without last-minute complications.
